Every year I always put some type of calendar in my student’s
daily take-home folder. I like for my calendars
to be very detailed for my parents. My
calendars list special school/classroom events, homework assignment due dates,
spelling test dates, dress-up days, and anything else that would be helpful for
parents to know.
These calendars also work as my student’s behavior calendar. At the end of each school day my students
mark their calendar with their color behavior dot (either green, yellow, or red). Each night their parents look at their
calendar and initial it. By having
parents initial the calendar each night it not only forces them to stay
informed on their child’s behavior but it also allows them to see what events
are coming up. This is one of the main reasons
I like to use an event/behavior calendar combo.
In the past I would copy my calendars on white card stock, hole-punch
them, and add them in each student’s take-home folder. This year I updated my calendars so I could
print them on the bright and colorful Astrobrights cardstock paper!
They turn out so bright and colorful they are hard for parents to miss!
I’ve added my new calendars to my TpT store! I made these calendars editable so you can type
in your own dates, events, and more! You
can also use any cute fonts and images you would like!
Just type your events and add images.
The calendars come in both vertical and horizontal.
The calendars come with 5 or 7 day week options as well.

(7 day week option)
I also have a Spanish version of the calendars as well!
These calendars also work great for teacher planning
calendars, snack calendars, and more!
