Personalized Kid Name Tags and Lanyards for Back to School!

Getting ready for Back-to-School means making name tags for students!

I created these personalized kid character labels that I simply adore!  I love them so much I decided to add them to my TpT store!

There are two different versions of the name tags.  Version #1 is made to be printed on adhesive 2 1/3 x 3 3/8 labels. 

I purchased these labels from Amazon.

They are perfect to stick on your student's shirts!

Version #2 is made to be printed and inserted into name tag lanyard necklaces.

The lanyard name tags are 3.75 x 3 inches in size.

 They fit perfectly inside my Highlights lanyards I got for free!

These name tag lanyards are great if you are looking for a reusable name badge option.

Have your students turn in their name badge at the end of the day so you can reuse them the next day or even on sub days!

I've done back to school name tags with both adhesive labels and lanyard necklaces before.  Both work great!

Personalized Kid Classroom Labels

Looking for a new and individualized way to label your classroom?  

Check out these personalized kid labels!  

The labels come with over 65+ clip art kid characters.  There are 31 boy and 38 girl characters to choose from to match your multicultural classroom.  

The labels come in 7 different sizes.  The variety of sizes allows you to label your students' cubby boxes, supply bins, book baskets, coat hooks, desks, and more!

The labels are editable in PowerPoint so all you have to do is simply pick a matching clip art character for each of your students and add their name to the label.  You can pick which font, font size, and color font you want your labels to have.

Your students will go crazy when they see their personalized label that looks like them.

Circle Labels

These circle labels can be used so many different ways.  They are perfect for book baskets, coat hooks, and more!  They measure 4 x 4 inches.

Simply punch a hole at the top of your label and attach it to the book basket using a book ring.

Each student now has their own basket of books.

Square Labels

These square labels are 3 x 3 inches and fit perfectly on magazine holders.

These are perfect to use when labeling book bins.

Small Rectangular Labels

USING THE REALLY GOOD STUFF BASKET AND BIN LABEL HOLDERS

If you love to label all your baskets and bins in your classroom these label holders from Really Good Stuff are great! 

They clip on to almost anything and have a clear plastic cover that will protect your labels.  Another great thing is you can easily move the label clips around to update/ reorganize your classroom year after year.

I purchased my clips off of Amazon so I wouldn’t have to pay shipping.

The only thing I’m not a fan of is the cardstock rainbow label that comes with it.  I wanted to keep with the black, white, and red polka dot theme in my classroom so I made these labels that fit in the clip holders.

Here are some other ideas on how you can use the label clips in your classroom:

The clips fit perfectly on caddy supply bins.

Use them to label each group’s supply tub.

The labels definitely make such a huge difference on how they look!

You can also use the label clips to label paper baskets, turn in baskets, and more!

 

I wish I would have discovered these clips long ago!  They work so well on each of my student's book baskets! 

Their baskets are filled with books from my classroom library on their individual reading level.  They get their book basket off of the shelf and read whenever they have free time.  For example, when they finish their work early, at center time, etc.

I used to have each student’s book basket labeled with their name with a laminated cut out that had a book ring attached to the basket.  They did not hold up very well.  The hole punch for the book ring would always break.

Using these basket clips work so much better!

 To make these labels I just inserted a clipart picture on the labels.  I used the kid clipart from EduClips.
