Sip, Sip, Hooray! The Perfect DIY Teacher Appreciation Gift

Teacher Appreciation Week is just around the corner, and this year, I wanted to give my children's teachers something both fun and useful.  After some thought, I decided on colorful Stanley cups—a practical gift they can enjoy every day!

Tumbler Tag

To make it extra special, I designed these adorable gift tags to attach to the tumblers.

They add just the right personal touch, making this a simple yet heartfelt appreciation or end-of-year gift.

Stanley Cup Straw Covers

I also added these colorful straw covers I found on Amazon to each of the tumblers.

Gift Tags

I created two versions of the tags:

📌 Version 1: "Sip, Sip, Hooray! Thank you for all you do every day!"

📌 Version 2: "Sip, Sip, Hooray! You are appreciated every day! Thank you for all you do!"

Both versions come in three sizes—small, medium, and large—so you can find the perfect fit for any tumbler.

Putting this gift together was a breeze!  Here’s how:

2.  Cut them out and sign your name.
3.  Punch a hole at the top of the tag.

✔️ A ruler
✔️ A black marker

Teacher Gift Ideas

How to Make the Notebook Paper Design:

1.  Draw a vertical red line down the left side of the bag.
2.  Use a light blue marker and a ruler to create evenly spaced horizontal lines from bottom to top.
3.  Add three small black circles on the left side of the red line to mimic a classic notebook page.

To complete the look, I attached a cute apple-themed teacher appreciation tag to the bag and tied on a ribbon for an extra special touch.
